Central Park’s SummerStage may have finished last week, the McCarren Park Pool may be over, and while that may herald the end of the free show season, it does not indicate a dearth of good live music. In fact, it means anything but.

The Dandy Warhols/The Upsidedown)
The Dandy Warhols’ new album, …Earth To The Dandy Warhols… came out last week, and they’re getting ready to start their North American tour on September 9. Along for the ride is Portland’s (and Dandys’ labelmates) The Upsidedown, who just released Human Destination on August 12, as well as Darker My Love.
