For anyone who hasn’t gotten a ticket for a Bogmen show, we upgraded Thursday 12/21 to Webster Hall due to high demand, and once again they are VERY close to being sold out, so get on it ASAP. If you bought tix for Bowery that night they will be honored at Webster.

Also, BIG NEWS - THE KNOCKOUT DROPS have Escaped From Bellevue once again and will be joining us now on Thursday night too! No better way to kick it off!

The Vic Thrill movie, Curly Oxide & Vic Thrill, is due to start production this fall for Paramount Pictures. The movie, based on the history and the stories of the Vic Thrill Salon in the ’90s, is being produced by Lorne Michaels and John Goldwyn, written by Tina Fey, and co-starring Sasha Baron-Cohen. Meanwhile, Vic’s yet to be titled book is due for a summer ‘07 release via Random House. Needless to say, NYC musician / artist / entertainer / conceptualist Billy Campion a.k.a. Vic Thrill has been keeping busy!

On Oct 4th @ Mo’ Pitkins (NYC) , Vic Thrill treats us to a night filled with musical adventure and other wondrous experiences from the mad, mad world of this multimedia wunderkind. The night features a range of guest collaborations, including a rumored visit from the “Clowns of Forgiveness”, and of course, Vic’s partner in crime, The Saturn Missile. In addition, director / videographer Chris Cassidy will be screening the trailer from the Vic Thrill salon’s “prostitute beauty pageant” entitled “Entertaining Chaos”, plus the controversial short film “Painting at the Break of Day”, a completely unintentional yet strikingly resonant preamble to 9.11, filmed in the weeks leading up to the tragic event.

That’s not all… bookmark your calendars for Vic Thrill & Saturn Missile on Oct 18th @ Southpaw (NYC), w/ The Jealous Girlfriends and The Elephants.
