At the awards show on Feb. 10th, on the anniversary of his passing, J Dilla was honored at the Plug Awards show at Irving Plaza, NYC, with “Artist of the Year” and “Record Producer of the Year”. Echoing the words of the instant classic “Won’t Do” from “The Shining” (BBE Music), we still can’t help but feel that “1 won’t do, 2 is not enough…”

A tribute video was screened in which Mrs. Yancey, J Dilla’s moms, explained how her son’s dying wish was to spread a little love in this world. And so we shall:
